We have an urgent requirement for an Electrical/Instrumentation Commissioning Engineer to strengthen our team delivering our Falklands Power Plant project. The Commissioning Engineer must have a background in the successful delivery of commissioning activities of a project through to a successful handover.
The Commissioning Engineer will bring demonstrable dual discipline commissioning experience and practical skills to a small team. Working closely with the on-site Commissioning Manager, you will ensure that all commissioning activities are executed to meet the project schedule requirements in a safe and effective manner. You will be accountable for the efficiency, quality and safe activities of the commissioning aspects of the projects you are working on and you will lead designated commissioning activities, within the agreed constraints of time, quality and cost, whilst maintaining the relationships with the client’s operational staff and contractors, ensuring an excellent Health Safety and Environmental performance. You will ensure customer satisfaction and quality is always achieved. The Commissioning Engineer will work 6 days each week whilst in the Falkands and will work rotations.
A competitive daily rate is available and this role has been confirmed to be outside of IR35.
