Trant Engineering Limited is a multi discipline Engineering & Construction company with offices and projects throughout the UK and Overseas. We have a number of different divisions including Energy, Oil & Gas, Water & Process, International and Control & Automation.

We are currently working on a large project near Manchester Airport and with several further projects across the region we are looking for additional electrical resource to join our team.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Install electrical systems and equipment including heavy duty cable trays, SWA installation & motor control centres.
  • Carrying out scoping of works
  • Carry out duties in accordance with Company Management System, Policies (including Company Rules), and Statutory and Client requirements.
  • Reporting to Line Management all, accidents, incidents, and hazards.
  • Ensuring that all applicable safety controls are appropriately applied and adhered to.

Required Skills/Qualifications

Applicants should have:

  • Installation background within the water, power or other heavy industry sectors
  • COMPEX EX01 – EX04
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing of Electrical Installations a bonus
  • ECS/CSCS Card
  • Full UK Driving License

Beneficial Skills/Qualifications (training can be offered)

  • C&G Medium Risk Confined Space
  • Mobile Tower Erection (e.g. PASMA)
  • Mobile Elevated Working Platforms (e.g. IPAF)
  • First Aid at Work
  • SSSTS (for Lead Electricians)
