We are currently looking for a qualified Electrician to join our team working on National Grid sites across the country.  The existing team are based out of Manchester so a home base in this area would be preferred.

Responsibilities will include:

  • containment installations (galvanised/grp tray and some galvanised conduit work)
  • cabling and testing of site establishment installations.
  • Carrying out duties in accordance with Company Management System, Policies (including Company Rules), and Statutory and Client requirements.
  • Assisting the Line Management to undertake all measures to comply with SHE legislation.
  • Reporting to Line Management all, accidents, incidents, and hazards.
  • Carrying out scoping of works
  • Ensuring that all applicable safety controls are appropriately applied and adhered to.


  • C&G NVQ level 3 and ideally C&G 2391 (or the newer 2394/2395).
  • SHEA Gas and / or NG BESC/Persons would be a bonus but training can be provided

Work will be on sites nationwide so applicants must be willing to travel and stay away from home
