We are currently looking for an Industrial Lagger / Thermal Insulation Engineer on our Power Station projects in the Falkland Islands

Applicants must have previous experience of working on industrial sites, and have excellent lagging and metal work skills, with own hand tools.

Duties:

  • Determine the amount of insulation and cladding needed.
  • Measure and cut insulation using tape measure, handsaws, knives and scissors, fitting to mostly new pipework, some repairs and tying into old pipework and around obstructions.
  • Install metal around the insulated pipes with screws/rivets.

Due to the nature of deployment the successful individual will be required to ‘muck in’ with other tasks as required.

A CSCS Health and Safety card is required and candidate are required to undergo ACRO police checks before flying.
