We are currently recruiting for an Intermediate-level Quantity Surveyor to join our regional office in Altrincham. As part of the Energy team, you will be working on National Grid projects (Flood Alleviation/ISS schemes). Work comprises of civils and technology (sheet piling, precast concrete flood defence walls, pumping stations and full ISS security upgrades. Each project value is to £15m and the contract is NEC 3 Option A.
The role involves working as part of the commercial team and reporting to the Lead Quantity Surveyor and duties include but are not limited to;
Desired Skills / Background
It is essential that you must have a background in working on civil engineering contracts and having previously working on National Grid projects would be an advantage. You will have strong negotiation and communication skills, be able to work well under pressure and you should have a good grasp of NEC 3 Option
