At Trant, we are now recruiting for an additional Internal Recruiter to join our friendly & professional in-house recruitment team, based at our Head Office in Southampton. Working within a small team of Engineering Recruiters, you will report in to the Recruitment & Resourcing Manager and your role will involve coordinating recruitment activities from the initial stage of taking the brief, writing the advert, candidate attraction (including direct approaching of candidates), managing the interview process, through to offer stage. You will fill a variety of integral engineering roles in the UK and overseas and should be able to manage your own workload effectively.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prioritising recruitment requirements.
  • Liaising with Line Managers (taking the brief of the role, arranging interviews, gaining feedback).
  • Writing job adverts and advertising on the company website and various job boards.
  • Approach suitable candidates using various methods including Linked-In, job boards and referrals.
  • Managing direct applications and assess candidates for suitability.
  • Arrange interviews.
  • Ensure that job boards and Trant website are up to date with live vacancies only.
  • Reference check successful candidates.Send rejection letters to unsuccessful direct applicants.

Background/Experience:

  • Previous/current experience of working in recruitment, either for an agency or in an in-house role.
  • A background in Construction/Engineering recruitment is preferred.
