MANAGING QUANTITY SURVEYOR
NEAR READING
Due to winning an additional phase of works, we are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a 12-month project near Reading. This is a £12m new single storey construction project, comprising excavation and foundations, steel frame, RC works and M&E fit out.
Based on site, the Managing Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the commercial management of this project using NEC 4.
We are open to receiving applications from individuals seeking either permanent employment or a temporary contract.
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Valuations
· Change Control / Compensation Events
· Subcontractor Procurement
· CVR's
· Early Warnings
· Updating Risk Register
· Monthly Commercial Reporting
· Cash Flow Forecasts
· Subcontractor Payments
· Final accounts
Desired Skills / Background:
· HNC/HND/BSc in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or by experience
· Working knowledge of NEC
· IT literate
