We are now seeking to recruit a QA Administrator to strengthen our team overseeing our Falklands Power Plant project.  This role is for an experienced, detail-orientated, skilled, focused and highly motivated QA Administrator to join the team and assist in delivery of the handover activities of a project through to a successful handover.

Job Role

As the QA Administrator, you will bring demonstrable discipline site technical clerk experience and practical skills to a small team.  Working closely with the Commissioning Manager, you will assist with all handover activities are executed to meet the project schedule requirements in a safe and effective manner.  You will be accountable for the efficiency, quality and safe activities of the handover aspects of the projects you are working on.

You will assist with handover activities, within the agreed constraints of time, quality and cost, whilst maintaining the relationships with the client’s operational staff and an excellent Health Safety and Environmental performance.  You will ensure customer satisfaction and quality is always achieved.

Responsibilities

  •  Compiling and processing highly technical and specific information
  •  Proof-reading and standardising technical documentation
  •  Preparation of operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals
  •  Create and administer technical documentation
  •  Reviewing and examine engineering drawings to ensure conformity to established criteria
  •  Extract information to include in spreadsheet format
  •  Provide Administrative support for the Commissioning and Handover Team
  •  Liaise with Project Managers to ensure requirements and deadlines are being met
  •  Document Filing and retrieval
  •  Dealing with suppliers and subcontractors to progress handover documentation
  •  Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and requirements or other Quality Manufacturing System would be a benefit
  •  To compile data into an analytical and readable format (spreadsheets and dashboards) 

Qualifications / Skills 

  •  Power / Industrial project experience preferred.  As a site technical clerk would be preferred.
  •  Strong interpersonal skills
  •  Fully competent in Microsoft office packages.  MS Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe, Outlook
  •  The candidate must be able to read engineering drawings
  •  Strong communication, both written and verbal
  •  Proven experience within Administration or Project Management
