We have an immediate requirement to appoint a Quality Engineer to work on a civil engineering contract in Pembroke, Wales. Works involve excavation, concrete, reinforcement, culverts, pipework etc. This is a temporary position for a minimum of 10 months (this may change if workload increases). Working closely with the SHEQ Manager and Site Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to;

Duties:

  • Communicate Quality Assurance requirements across the site
  • Management of inspection and production records
  • Frequent review of various production checklists
  • QA planning activity
  • Review/amend/write Quality Assurance documentation following company procedures and using supporting forms
  • Ensure QA Documentation is in place prior to excavation or using any product on site
  • Monitor and measure Management System effectiveness
  • Attend site meetings
  • Attend SHEQ meetings
  • Facilitate improvement actions, ensuring they are implemented and closed within agreed timescales
  • Supply chain assessments and monitoring

Background:

You will be working in a Quality Assurance role currently/previously and must have a background in construction or civil engineering. Oil/Gas/Petrochemical Experience Desirable but not Essential
