QUANTITY SURVEYOR
FAWLEY, SOUTHAMPTON
Due to increased workload, we are currently seeking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to work on various civil engineering projects at refinery in Southampton. Project works comprise RC structures, enabling works, steel works, foundations, deep excavations, drainage, pipe repairs. The various forms of contract used include NEC3 Lump Sum, Schedule of Rates and a bespoke re-measurable contract.
Based at site office at Fawley Refinery, the Quantity Surveyor will work closely with and report to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and will receive support from an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Valuations
· Change Control / Compensation Events
· Subcontractor Procurement
· CVR's
· Early Warnings
· Updating Risk Register
· Monthly Commercial Reporting
· Cash Flow Forecasts
· Subcontractor Payments
· Dispute Resolution
· Final accounts
Desired Skills / Background:
HNC/HND/BSc in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or by experience
Working knowledge of NEC
