We have an immediate requirement for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the business, working to deliver a £15m Design & Build project for Southern Water in East Sussex. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all of the commercial function for the project and applicants should be fully conversant with NEC Option C.

This position reports to the Commercial Manager for the Process & Water team and duties include but are not limited to;

  • Valuations
  • Change Control / Compensation Events
  • Subcontractor Procurement
  • CVR's
  • Early Warnings
  • Updating Risk Register
  • Monthly Commercial Reporting
  • Cash Flow Forecasts
  • Subcontractor Payments
  • Dispute Resolution
  • Final accounts

Desired Skills / Background

  • HNC/HND/BSc in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or by experience (Essential)
  • Working knowledge of NEC Option C Form of Contract (Essential)
  • A background of working within the water (Preferred)
