M&E Site Manager

Wessex Region 

Due to growth, we are currently recruiting for M&E Site Managers for our up-and-coming schemes in the Wessex region (Hampshire, Dorset Wiltshire and Somerset). Projects include installation of new pipework and pumps, installation of flow monitors within sludge tanks, replacement of control valves/pumps and associated wiring and testing, increasing storm water capacity with the installation of new tanks, monitoring of instrumentation and general M&E refurbishments and all associated infrastructure.

The Site Manager will have an excellent technical ability in this sector and be a strong manager of people, possessing the ability to get the most out of the site team (sub contractors and direct staff). It is also paramount to ensuring safe working is of primary importance.

Reporting to the M&E Project Manager, duties of the Site Manager include but are not limited to;

  • Managing a site team
  • Management of subcontractors
  • Delivering works, ensuring the highest level of safety at all times
  • Controlling safety, quality & environmental activities
  • Writing & reviewing RAMS
  • Client interface
  • Progress reporting
  • Sign off permits for confined space
  • Check and sign off Temporary works (Ideally qualified)

Qualifications/background:

  • HND/BEng in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering or by experience
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS
  • EUSR Water card
