Trant Engineering has been awarded the Silver Tiger Award for a third consecutive year thanks to the company’s work at Fawley Oil Refinery, the largest complex of its kind in the UK.

The accolade by ExxonMobil stated: “On behalf of the Fawley Site Management Team, we would like to thank you and your team for the significant contribution made by your company throughout 2021.”

Dean Heaphy, Contracts Manager, Trant Engineering, was presented with the award with colleagues at the refinery, which produces 850,000 tonnes of petrochemical products annually.

He said: “This is a hat-trick of Silver Tiger Awards for Trant Engineering, and we are all incredibly proud of the recognition by ExxonMobil. Credit must go to colleagues for their significant contribution to the refinery throughout last year, which included challenges caused by the pandemic.”

Trant Engineering met a range of important criteria, such as health & safety and commercial performance.

Dean said: “The feedback report stated that we provide a ‘valued service to the site’, one which is ‘highly responsive with a wide range of skills’, with a ‘recognised willingness to support site priorities.”

In a separate development, Trant Engineering has been presented with its 34th consecutive award from The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
